Press Release: Christmas “Adopt-A-Family” Event – December 2009
Fort Lauderdale – December 2009 – A New Horizon Credit Counseling Services, a national financial education and credit counseling firm, has organized a 2nd Christmas event for an area family in financial need who would not otherwise been able to have a Christmas holiday.
A New Horizon, based in Fort Lauderdale, realizing that communities are experiencing financial crisis from a lack luster job market and over 
usage of credit cards, looked for a way to bring some form of direct help during the holiday season.
To meet this desire, this year, A New Horizon approached CBS4’s Neighbors for Neighbors program. In December, A New Horizon’s staff, supervisors and managers brought gifts, decorations, and food to the home of a single mother with 5 children to provide a joyous, bountiful holiday gathering.
The family was very appreciative and everyone had a wonderful time together.
