About our Founder and President/CEO: Stephen Marcus

As a clinical psychologist, Mr. Marcus came to realize that at the root of many personal and family problems are the pressures and stress that money can cause. And, when financial problems are alleviated, this has an overall positive affect on a person's situation.
Carrying forward Mr. Marcus' mission of helping others in need, A New Horizon's counseling and financial literacy programs have played an important role in the financial rehabilitation of an individual. We offer our clients a new perspective on life by unburdening them of financial pressures and setting them on the road towards Financial Freedom.

What do we do?
A New Horizon and its service providers offer a full menu of Financial Literacy and Financial Solutions Programs to meet the needs of individuals, families, and businesses.
Financial Literacy
Our nationally recognized Financial Literacy Program offers an array of courses on budgeting, using credit wisely, and savings strategies for credit challenged consumers.Upon course completion, the names of participants are submitted to the American Center for Credit Education to be included in a national database accessed by creditors and lenders.
In addition, A New Horizon offers valuable information to the consumer each month with our "Financial Education Topic of the Month". Such topics include "Becoming Financially Fit", "How To Prepare for Tax Season" and "Homeownership vs. Renting". Debt Management Program
ANH's core program offers a solution to individuals who are finding it difficult to successfully meet their monthly financial obligations. Administered by dedicated Certified Credit Counselors, the program is designed to assist those individuals in regaining control of their finances by restructuring their outstanding unsecured debts through a budgeting process, financial education, and financial counseling resulting in reduced monthly payments and interest.

Debt Negotiation/Settlement Program
The Debt Negotiation/Settlement Program offers a unique solution to individuals who have fallen behind with their monthly financial obligations. Administered by dedicated certified credit counselors, the program is designed to assist those individuals by negotiating or settling their outstanding debt balances by as much as 50%, facilitating a rapid resolution to their delinquent debt.
